Lucy's Story

Lucy: Professional Heart-Stealer & Everybody’s New Best Friend

Some dogs make an impression. Lucy leaves a trail of smiles, tail wags, and completely stolen hearts everywhere she goes!

At approximately 8 months old, this mixed-breed girl has already mastered the most important things in life: loving people, making friends, and accepting as many ear scratches as humanly possible!

Lucy’s field trip yesterday was basically one giant meet-and-greet, and she was ALL about it. Every child she met was immediately promoted to Best Friend for Life — no application required, no interview necessary. She dropped everything she was doing the second someone offered her attention because, naturally, being loved is far more important than toys or treats!

And she’s just as happy making new dog friends. Lucy is dog-friendly, incredibly sweet, and has the kind of gentle, affectionate disposition that makes you wonder how anyone could possibly resist her. She broke hearts all across the county, and honestly... we’re pretty sure she collected a few forever fans along the way.

She’s an excellent car rider... except for the carsickness. And since she’s my third carsick dog in a row, I’m starting to wonder: is it the dogs, or do I need to retake my driver’s test?

Luckily, a seat cover and a blanket make cleanup easy, so Lucy is still ready for her next adventure!

Lucy is pure delight in a fur coat. She wants to meet you, love you, make friends with everyone you know, and probably convince you that she belongs in your lap.

If you’re looking for a young dog with a huge heart, a sweet soul, and enough love to go around, Lucy would very much like to meet you. And fair warning: she may make you fall in love before you even realize what happened!

Could Lucy be your new best friend? Give this sweet girl the happily-ever-after she’s been waiting for and apply to adopt her today!

http://www.covingtonanimalrescueeffort.com/
