Lucy's Story
How Lucy arrived:Lucy was brought in by a community member on August 20, 2026. Why Lucy is the one for you:Lucy is ready to enter into a life full of little tail wags and plenty of sweet moments. She likes to take her time deciding when she is ready to say hello. Once she gets to know someone, she can become affectionate like it is her full-time job. Lucy enjoys gentle walks where she can sniff, explore, and take in the neighborhood at her own pace. Treats are a great way to make friends, and patient people who let her choose when to approach will earn major Lucy points. Because Lucy can feel uncertain in new situations, she needs a family ready to go slow and respect her signals when she needs a break. Lucy may enjoy meeting another dog with thoughtful introductions and active supervision. If you are ready to give Lucy the patience, kindness, and time she needs to truly come out of her shell, this lovely little lady may be your perfect match. Please bring a leash & collar when adopting. At SDHS:Lucy has been vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Lucy is now ready for adoption! Primary Color: Black Weight: 15lbs Age: 1yrs 7mths 3wks Animal has been Spayed
