Meet Lucy!<br/>This precious girl is the happiest and most loving pup you’ll ever meet. Lucy is looking for a forever home where she’ll be loved and treated like the princess she is!! She loves to be with you and just soaks up all the love and attention you give her.<br/><br/>Lucy’s owner became unable to properly care for her and Lucy came into rescue. When she first came to Spot’s, Lucy was extremely overweight and she her teeth were in terrible shape and infected. Lucy had a major dental and is working on loosing all the extra weight!<br/><br/>Lucy is working hard on house training and does really well when she’s on a schedule. She really enjoys when she’s praised and given a small treat after taking care of her business outside. She’s lost a significant amount of weight after her starting a new food and adjusting her portions that are appropriate. Lucy is making great progress in working to a healthy weight. Lucy is also improving physically. When she first came to Spot’s, Lucy was not able to go up a single stair. But now she can go up a whole flight. With love and support, Lucy will continue to get healthier and more fit.<br/><br/>In addition to her sweet and loving demeanor, Lucy is a fun and spunky girl. She’s started showing show interest in toys. When she knows it’s mealtime or treat time she does a cute little hop and will bark to tell you to speed up. She is a smart girl and loves attention, so I think she’d enjoy learning and practicing tricks and obedience.<br/><br/> Lucy is looking for a best friend who will spend lots of time with her and shower her with attention. She loves cuddling on the couch and having her belly rubbed. She’ll need help to get up and down from the couch - her short legs prevent her from jumping up and down! Lucy enjoys being outside and is taking a few short walks loving the sniffing! <br/><br/>If you’re looking for a sweet girl that will make you smile and make you smile, then Lucy’s you gal.
