Lucy's Story

14 yr old Lucy is in need of a new home sadly due to her owner's declining health. She is a sweet girl who loves to be held. She enjoys going for walks and has done well around other dogs. Her vision is declining however it does not seem to slow her down she just needs some assistance on stairs. This senior girl deserves a loving home to live her golden years.

If you are interested in meeting Lucy, please submit an adoption application through our website today!

https://www.seniordogsanctuary.com/adoption-application.html

Senior Dog Sanctuary of Maryland's Adoption Policy

Why adopt a Senior Dog? Experienced, housebroken, settled down, loving and lovable, good with children, excellent company, non-judgemental - we could go on but you get the picture. Exceptions to everything listed? Sure, but all in all an experience you will never regret. First, come visit the dogs that interest you; we are open, by appointment, every day of the week from 10-3. Then complete our Adoption Application, which asks for personal references, your animals' Vet, information about your home environment and your agreement to allow us to do a home visit. Once approved, we will do a meet and greet with your family - including your four-legged family members. If all goes well, you welcome your pup into your home and your heart and you all become members of our extended Senior Dog Sanctuary family!
