Lucy's Story

Lucy is a sweet, bouncy little girl with a whole lot of energy and a world of things left to discover! She loves to run, explore, and spend time with her canine friends. She is affectionate and playful once she feels comfortable, although unfamiliar people, places, and experiences can make her a little nervous at first. Give her a moment to figure things out, and her silly, spirited personality quickly begins to shine. Lucy is also food motivated, enjoys chasing a ball, and has some classic herding tendencies that keep life interesting!

Lucy's best fit:

Lucy would thrive with an active family willing to help her build confidence and continue learning about the world. She enjoys other dogs and could benefit from a compatible canine companion. She may do well with children in the right environment, although a busy home with lots of young kids may be too much for her. Lucy is comfortable settling in a crate, but her house training is still unknown and may require some patience. We have not yet tested her with cats. With opportunities to run, explore, learn, and gain confidence, Lucy has all the makings of a wonderful companion.
