Meet Lucy – A Resilient Soul Ready for Her Forever Home!<br/>8 years old | 30 lbs | Dog-friendly | Amputee survivor <br/><br/>Lucy came to RescueConnect Animal Rescue both emotionally and physically broken. She had suffered a severe leg injury that required amputation, but this brave little girl is healing beautifully and adjusting well to her new mobility.<br/><br/>Initially shy—especially around men—Lucy is slowly blossoming in her loving foster home. With patience and kindness, she’s beginning to trust and seek out companionship. She does wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive with a confident, gentle canine friend to help her continue building confidence. Her experience with cats is unknown.<br/><br/>Lucy prefers not to be crated and is currently working on housebreaking, which may be related to her mobility changes. A home where someone is around during the day would be ideal to support her continued progress.<br/><br/>This sweet, soulful girl is looking for a calm, compassionate family who will give her the love and security she’s never known.
