Lucy's Story
Lucy is approximately 3 years old and weighs about 45 pounds.
She gets along with other dogs and is great with people of all ages.
She is untested with cats.

Lucy is house trained and she has been working on getting used to the kennel. Her foster is feeding her and giving her all her treats in the kennel and if the door is open while she is home, Lucy will lie in the kennel and eat her treat.
When she is left alone in her crate, she is anxious but is working on staying in longer and longer.

She can't help herself if there is anything enticing on the counter, so she needs to learn her manners in the kitchen!

At home, Lucy spends her time lying on the couch or her bed and she also likes being in the back yard. She loves to go for a walk twice a day and typically go 5 to 9 kilometres.
She benefits from a good walk but she is a puller and has a strong prey drive - always on the lookout for rabbits or squirrels, she is also very interested in the grasshoppers!

She is not that interested in people or dogs that we meet while out on a walk but is friendly to everyone who stops.

She is not food motivated at all and she isn't really ball or toy motivated either. She loves her people and loves to be near them. She is not a barker. She sleeps well through the night. She is truly a sweet, well behaved dog.
