Hi, my name’s Lucy and I’m a Texas girl looking for a new family! Someone cruelly dumped me on the side of a busy highway with my similar-looking dog friend. My friend was hit by a car before Salem’s Hollow Rescue found us. They took me in and got me all fixed up. I’m current on all my vaccines, heart-worm negative, and my spay surgery is scheduled for 10/6/2023. The veterinarian I saw thinks I’m about 5-6 years old and some kind of beagle/hound mix. <br/><br/>I am a very polite little lady. I am quiet and I get along well with everyone: other dogs, cats, and children. I love affection and my favorite activity is cuddling. I am still a little afraid of being abandoned again and I prefer to be with someone as often as possible. However, I am well behaved when left alone for several hours at a time: I wait to go potty until I can go outside and am not destructive of my surroundings. Just please give me lots of hugs and kisses when you return! I learn quickly and already know sit, stay, and come. I walk on a leash well, and love to go for walks! I have lots of sweet, gentle love to give. Could you be my new forever family?<br/><br/>My adoption fee is $150 and I can be transported anywhere in the continental United States for a fee, to be calculated based on mileage.
