Lucy is a sensitive 7 year old 40 pound senior Hound mix looking for her new forever family. She is a nervous, hesitant girl and takes a little while to warm up to new people. Lucy lived happily for 7 years with her previous family and is not adjusting well to kennel life. She has bonded with several staff members and volunteers, and those people are her safe space. Lucy loves to go for long walks and really enjoys being outside! Once she is comfortable, she is a wonderful snuggler and is very affectionate. She is super treat motivated and that has helped us bond with her. Lucy and her previous owner would watch TV on the couch together every night. She would make a great companion for an older couple or person with a quieter home looking for a buddy. Lucy has a positive history with both cats and dogs and is reported to be playful with both!
