Lucy's Story

My name is Lucy and I am a 3-year-old female mixed breed. I weigh around 50 pounds. I came up all the way from Mexico in February and am waiting for my forever home! I am an extremely nervous and shy pup, so I have been with a foster family trying to figure out this scary new world.

I do well with other neutral dogs but don't enjoy when dogs are in my face or want to play all the time. I am looking for a quiet home with a knowledgeable owner who can be patient with me and help me build confidence.

I am looking for a home with a fenced yard but I do enjoy walks in the quiet neighborhood.

Even suburban life has proven to be a lot for me so the more remote the better! I will not do well with kiddos, urban living, apartment situations, or a loud environment. I will do best with 1-2 people who are patient and let me take my time to start understanding the new world around me. A confident and neutral resident dog is required.

Most of all, I just need plenty of time, love, and a chance. If you think you could be my one in a million home, please apply to meet me today!
