LUCY's Story

LUCY is a 3 year old hound who weighs a little over 40 pounds. She is doing her best to gain up to her goal weight. She was underweight and a bit stressed when she arrived but she is loving island life. She loves golf cart rides, sunbathing, and pup cups from the coffee shop! She is crate trained and knows basic commands. She is great on leash walks and she gets along well with other dogs that she meets while on her adventures. Animal Lovers of Edisto Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy

Anyone wishing to adopt one of our dogs or puppies should contact our Adoption Team at edistoaloe@gmail.com to request an adoption application and to meet a dog. They will set up a date and time for you to meet the dog or puppy and email you an adoption application. Meetings are generally scheduled from 10am to dark, seven days a week as volunteers are available to meet with you. Sometimes a dog can be brought to your home. Because we are located on private property all visits to meet our rescues are on a scheduled basis.
