Lucy

Lucy is a female Labradoodle with a birth date of 10/22/20 who is the most affectionate dog ever! Lucy loves her people, loves to hug, loves to be by your side and go wherever you go. But Lucy must have a family that will be dedicated to putting her health as their number one priority. Lucy has pancreatitis that went untreated for three years when her family could not afford to treat her. We have her in a very stable condition and pancreatitis is easily treated IF the proper diet is maintained. She must remain on low-fat dog food (Royal Canin low fat gastrointestinal) which she likes and eats readily. She can NOT have regular dog food and NO treats. This is why we are looking for a family with no kids (who have a tendency to drop crumbs and leave food around) and no other dogs where she can sneak a bowl of regular dog food. Lucy is the best cuddler ever and lays her head into your chest and we want her to be a part of a family that can love her and keep her safe. Lucy is a slender 40 lbs. and is at a very good body weight for her long legs!

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING THIS DOG, please go to our website at humanesocietypc.com and complete an application.
