As of 02/20/26, Lucky has been waiting 319 days for a family to call his own — which officially makes him one of our Diamond Dogs. That means he's been overlooked far too long... but we know his perfect match is out there. After spending several months building confidence with RAC shelter staff & his foster family, Lucky has truly blossomed into an incredible dog who is ready for his forever home. This handsome boy is wonderfully well-rounded. He does great with other dogs, cats, and even livestock — especially chickens! He would thrive in a home with kids and loves having people to play with. When it's time to burn energy, Lucky is all in for toys, yard time, and fun. But when the day winds down? He's a professional at “Netflix and chill” and is more than happy to relax by your side. Lucky is housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained — he's put in the work and it shows. Because he forms strong bonds, he may need a few days to warm up in a new environment.
