Meet Lucky!<br/><br/>Lucky is an adorable, 6 pound, 9-year-old Chihuahua who came to us after the heartbreaking loss of her owner. Since arriving, she’s received much-needed care for some eye issues that were causing discomfort, and she’s feeling so much better these days. Lucky will need eye drops several times a day for the rest of her life, but she takes them like an absolute champ.<br/><br/>This sweet girl is a classic Chihuahua — happiest curled up in your lap or following you from room to room. Lucky forms strong bonds with her people and loves being close to them whenever she can.<br/><br/>Because Lucky had very limited socialization in her previous life, she can be very fearful in new environments and around unfamiliar people. She will need a patient, understanding home willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe and settle in at her own pace. Once she trusts you, Lucky’s loving personality truly shines.<br/><br/>Lucky has been doing well in her foster home, but we feel she would do best in a quieter home without children.
