Lucky might be good with other dogs – he seems to want to be with them BUT in his formative months he was not given the opportunity to learn to play appropriately with other dogs. <br/>• Prefers a home without: He is strong and excitable so would be better if there were no other pets and no small children. <br/>• Is learning: house-training and crate-training and knows basic obedience<br/>• Has been: vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered<br/>• Can be described as: affectionate, friendly, loveable<br/>• Energy level: exuberant<br/>A Little More About Lucky<br/><br/>Lucky was surrendered to us by his owner who did not spend any time teaching and socializing him. Therefore, he came to us as a 2 years old untrained bundle of exuberance that desperately craved attention from people. <br/><br/>Lucky is a sweet, affectionate boy that loves people and thinks everyone wants to be with him and lavish attention on him. He thinks he’s a lap dog despite being nearly 120 pounds. <br/>Lucky is strong and has little impulse control. He will need an owner dedicated to working on his leash manners and impulse control. Though he is not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, he shines at loving people. <br/><br/>Lucky is being fostered the northeastern US; however, don’t let location be a barrier, BRI can arrange transport to many states east of the Mississippi!<br/><br/>If you would like to provide Lucky with the home he deserves, please complete the adoption application at https://www.bullmastiffrescuers.net/forms.html You can complete an online version or download the application in Word. <br/><br/>Adoption donations for BRI dogs range from $300 to $600. This is based on the age, health and training needs of the dog being adopted. Donations are discounted for elderly dogs or dogs with special needs. 100% of donations are directed to the veterinary expenses of the dogs in our care. BRI is a non-profit organization so your donation may be considered tax deductible.
