Lucky

Meet Lucky — the sweetest senior boy with so much love left to give!

We have had the absolute pleasure of fostering Lucky, and what a wonderful addition he has been to our home! This sweet boy has fit right in with our family and has been nothing short of amazing.

Great with Kids and Dogs! Lucky absolutely adores our children and gets along wonderfully with our dogs. As for the cat community? He couldn’t care less! We’ve also never seen him chase small animals.

Professional Lounger, Part-Time Adventurer! Lucky is perfectly content spending his days relaxing around the house, but he’s always ready and excited for a trip outside! He even lets you know when nature calls. Lucky loves to bring you toys or items to show his retriever instincts.

Ready to Ride! Lucky does fine on car rides and is happy to tag along! He does tend to pant and move up and down during the ride, so he’s not quite the laid-back passenger he is at home. But he manages car trips just fine!

A True Labrador at Heart! Lucky is VERY food motivated (shocking, we know! ). He will happily go on a little treasure hunt in search of a snack! We’ve been feeding him Purina Pro Plan Weight Management, along with carrots and cucumbers for some extra fiber and healthy crunch.

Senior in Age, Young at Heart! Don’t let the word senior fool you. Lucky has the energy and enthusiasm of a much younger adult dog! He’s got plenty of life left to live and love left to give.

The Ultimate Sunday Football Buddy! Lucky LOVES belly rubs, ear scratches, and cuddling up on the couch. If your ideal Sunday includes football, snacks, and a four-legged best friend curled up beside you, Lucky is your guy!

Lucky’s Dream Home: We truly believe Lucky would thrive in a home with another dog and a loving family, but he’d be just as happy being the one and only apple of your eye!

What matters most is finding Lucky a home where he can spend his golden years not just existing, but truly thriving. A home filled with love, comfort, belly rubs, and maybe a few extra carrots.

Senior dogs have a special kind of love to give. They aren’t done making memories, going on adventures, or becoming someone’s very best friend.

Lucky isn’t looking for a place to grow old. He’s looking for a place to keep living his best life.

Let’s help this sweet boy find the forever family he deserves!

Please share Lucky’s story and help us find his happily ever after!

You can read Lucky's blog here:
https://brooklinelabrescue.org/blog/lucky-14-black-labrador-male-9-years-old-id3653/

PLEASE NOTE: While this Lab may not be available for adoption by the time you complete the adoption process, other great Labs are always finding their way into our Rescue.

For more information on this Lab, please contact INFO@BROOKLINELABRESCUE.ORG.

If you are interested in adopting this Lab or any other Lab from our Rescue, please visit our Web site, www.brooklinelabrescue.org, for more information on our adoption process.
