He probably belonged to a homeless person, he was extremely filthy, underweight, and had a sweatshirt (human) on him that was cutting into his front legs very deeply. He was shy and scared, but liked the attention he was receiving. It didn't take him long to come out of his shell and become a happy, playful pup! It was amazing to see his transformation from a sick, shy, scared dog to one that knows he’s loved and has lots of fur buddies to play with. I don’t think people touched him much before he came to me (he smelled REALLY bad and was really flaky). As he healed and we kept handling him, he LOVES to be loved. Any physical touch is exciting to him and his whole body wiggles with excitement. Watch out for his kisses - they are sometimes a bit wet.
