Meet Lucky
Luck has had quite the journey. She was found on the streets of Mexico after being hit by a car. SHe was adopted by an elderly gentleman in Mexico and it was a love affair until he became sick and could no longer take care of her.
She’s about 2 yrs, 40ish lbs. she survived being hit by a car but that doesn’t damper her spirit. She’s a high-energy love bug who want to play with everyone! She would be best in a house with a yard, with a family/person that likes the outdoors. As mentioned, she can get excited by cats so probably best to be in a home with no cats. She loves other dogs, and is great with our bigger pitbull. She can get a bit toy-hoggy (that’s a word, right?) but listens well if you tell her to drop it. She’s very smart and turns everything into a game, so would do well with folks that like to hike and/or possibly do some agility/puppy-parkour with her.
She’s a snuggle-bug and is good at settling down when she needs to. She loves people, and is actually the quintessential perfect dog.
