Lucky was found as a young puppy after it was believed he had been hit by a car. After receiving medical care and making a full recovery, he was left with a noticeable scar on his face. It doesn't slow him down one bit and only adds to his charm!<br/><br/>Lucky's previous owner loved him dearly, but his youthful energy proved to be a little too much for the senior dog in the home and for their lifestyle. Now he's looking for a family that's ready to embrace his fun-loving spirit and zest for life.<br/><br/>Lucky's favorite things in life are toys, dog friends, and water! He loves to splash around in a kiddie pool and chase after toys, especially squeaky ones. Lucky absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion. He's previously lived with a cat and did well, and we think he'd be a great fit for sturdy, dog-savvy children who can handle an enthusiastic greeting or two. When he first heads out for a walk, he's excited about everything and can pull on the leash, but after a few minutes, he settles in nicely and enjoys the adventure.<br/><br/>He's not just handsome; he's got some manners, too! Lucky is potty trained, does well being kenneled at night or while his people are away, and already knows a few basic commands.
