Life hasn’t been easy lately for Luci (7) and Maggie (6). After losing their owners and living through a stressful season of illness and change, these two sisters are looking for a calm, steady "forever" where they can finally exhale.<br/><br/>Luci (The Sweetheart):<br/>Luci is a 7-year-old soul who lives for affection. She’s the girl who will lean against your legs and roll over for belly rubs the second she trusts you. She’s smart, food-motivated, and knows her commands (Sit, Down, Paw). She does have some skin allergies that are easily managed with a shot every 6 weeks to keep her comfortable and happy.<br/><br/>Maggie (The Shy Protector):<br/>Maggie is a gorgeous, petite 6-year-old who is a bit of a "wallflower." She’s had a tough time with confidence since her owner passed, but she finds her courage through her sister, Luci. While she’s shy with food and can be reactive to other dogs on walks, she is deeply sweet and playful once she knows she’s safe.<br/><br/>Their Bond:<br/>These two are a true package deal. They sleep in their kennels by choice, are fully house-trained, and love their walks. While they are vocal "home protectors" when someone approaches the house, they are good with strangers once introduced.<br/><br/>The Ideal Home:<br/>They need a patient, Shepherd-savvy home where they can stay together. They have lived with cats and could likely do so again with slow introductions. Because they’ve been through so much transition, they need a family who will help Maggie build her confidence and give Luci all the snuggles she’s been missing.<br/><br/><br/>Both sisters are spayed, vaccinated and up to date on preventatives. <br/>Please contact with any questions or to schedule a meet and greet.
