But he's more than just a pretty face-Lucho's got the personality to match. Found as a lost dog, 1 year old Lucho quickly made it clear he's a total gem. He's quiet in his kennel, doesn't bark at other dogs, and sits politely like the good boy he is when treats are involved. He's silly in the best way, affectionate with everyone he meets, and just a joy to be around. We are open 12-5pm daily for you to come meet our wonderful adoptable animals. If you would like to submit an application prior to your visit please head to ahscares.org/adopt and click the Newark link to begin your application. Please note no application is approved prior to meeting the animal you are interested in adopting, so please come to the shelter & bring the family to meet a pet.
