He adores humans of all genders, sizes, and ages whether they are his everyday friends or brand-new visitors at the shelter. He is sociable, confident, and full of love to give. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is even cat friendly. Loud noises? No problem! Traffic, motorcycles, thunderstorms, fireworks, Lucas handles them like a champ. This boy lives for adventure. Car rides make his whole day, and the moment he knows he is going out, his excitement is contagious. On leash, he walks nicely and responds well to other dogs he meets along the way. At mealtimes, Lucas prefers to enjoy his food solo; he is very proud of his hard-earned meals (who can blame him?) and would growl if any other dog gets close.. Outside of food time, he happily shares toys and even his favorite napping spots with his doggy friends. He is already mastered “Ven” (come) and “No”, especially useful when his inner guardian comes out and he feels the need to bark.
