Meet Luca! <br/><br/>Luca is a 5-month-old, 43-pound German Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix who has been my personal foster since he was just 8 weeks old. He and his sibling were found running down the street when a wonderful Good Samaritan swooped in and got them to safety-and I've had the privilege of watching this incredible boy grow ever since.<br/><br/>Luca has been raised in my home with six smaller dogs, and the mamas of my pack have done a pretty fantastic job teaching this big puppy all the important doggy rules! He has learned how to play nicely, respect the other dogs, and be part of a pack.<br/><br/>I've fostered a lot of dogs, and I can truly say that Luca is one of the smartest dogs I've ever fostered. He is an absolute sweetheart-loving, darling, eager to learn, and just the right amount of goofy! He has that wonderful combination of a German Shepherd's intelligence and loyalty with the Cattle Dog's clever, fun-loving personality.<br/><br/>I love this boy so much, which is exactly why I know it's time. Luca deserves to have his very own home, his very own people, and a family who will continue helping that brilliant little mind grow. He has so much potential and so much love to give.<br/><br/>Whoever adopts Luca isn't just getting a handsome puppy-they're getting a smart, funny, affectionate best friend who has had a wonderful start in life and is ready for his next big adventure.
