Adoptable in San Diego County only.

Friend's please meet Lua. ?

TLC K9 Rescue, rescued this precious 1 year old baby off of the streets of TJ Mexico after her owners decided they had no more use for her. ?

Well their loss is our gain! Because as her foster mama says she's the best dog anyone can ever ask for. Below are her messages to me.
Please read i know you will be pleasantly surprised.
Lua has a beautiful soul!

She was amazing even from her 1st day in San Diego.????

Foster mama's updates.........

**Ok. This may be the sweetest dog ever. She definitely needs training, but she has an amazing temper. I mean amazing. We washed her (and she let us), and she was so curious and wanted to be with us. So I walked her around the yard slowly on the leash.
Then I let her off the leash and all she wanted to do was play. We have no dog toys so we grabbed a tennis ball and she just loved fetch.
The kids swam and she dipped her foot in but she didn't get in. She looks interested in swimming but it may take her a while. We played hard with her for a couple hours and then we put her in the crate with a sheet over it. She doesn't bark, she sometimes jumps, and nipped only when we played ball with her. She was just delightful with everyone. She easily went into the house to the crate.
** She is just amazing! I just can’t believe her temperament. It’s incredible. She is so easy going. I think she will sleep well tonight. I put her in her crate about 20 minutes ago. She whimpered a tiny tiny bit and that was it. She willingly went in. She’s been super.
** Hi Suzanne! Lua barked for the first time last night. We had dinner at my parents’ house and she was parked at the front door entry with the doors open (behind the screens). She barked only when people walked by with their dogs. If people didn’t have dogs, she didn’t. It surprised us all. First time in 4 days! Her German Shepherd was guarding us, apparently. She’s doing well. I tried taking her on a run and only made it 3 miles. She isn’t conditioned yet...we will get her there. My son and I are distance runners! Lua was exhausted afterward (and the sun wasn’t even out!) I can tell she runs around a lot but hasn’t ever gone distances for a set pace. She loves her leash, though, and she’s doing better on it. I’m not only teaching her but my kids, too, how to keep her walking next to us.
** Also, Johnna and Lua are best buds. She was picking tomatoes, and Lua was right next to her the whole time. Gentle and sniffing.
** My other kids really love her too. The boys play hard with her. It’s so fun to see. Two of my girls are still out of town, so they will meet Lua on Saturday. Sooo glad to have this experience!

Lua, deserves a beautiful home. If you are an active family, have a home with a minimum of a 6ft fence and would love to meet Lua please email me at tlck9rescue@yahoo.com. ?
