Despite her young age, she’s already been through more than most dogs ever should—and she’s come out the other side with grace, resilience, and a quiet joy for life.

Faith was rescued alongside her mom (who has since been adopted) and her sister, Baby Girl (also still looking for a home), from an unhoused individual. Before rescue, Faith was hit by a car, resulting in both of her front legs being broken. Thanks to dedicated veterinary care and a whole lot of determination, one leg healed beautifully, and the other has undergone the necessary surgeries to repair it as well as possible.

Faith will need one more surgery in the future to remove a plate from her leg, and she may always have a slightly wonky stride—but none of that slows her down or dims her spirit. Currently on strict exercise restrictions, she’s enjoying 30-minute controlled walks to gradually rebuild muscle and strength.

Outside of walk time, Faith is a total pro at the good life: she loves car rides, perfects the art of the sploot, and soaks up the sun whenever she can.

To keep her out of a kennel, Faith has been lovingly cared for in three different foster homes, and we’re incredibly grateful to each one for opening their doors and hearts to her. While she’s been a wonderful houseguest, what we really want for Faith is something permanent—a forever family who will see her strength, celebrate her quirks, and love her exactly as she is.

Faith has already proven she’s a fighter. Now she’s ready to be someone’s forever. If interested in meeting Faith, please fill out an application at www.labradorsandfriends.org.

Faith is located in Southern California.
