Love's Story

Poor Love has been through so much. She came in extremely emaciated and not in great health. Thankfully she has been with a foster for a bit now and looks so healthy now. Here is a write up from her foster family:

Lovey has been enjoying a very successful fostering with a local family for the past 5 weeks. Her current foster family has to go out of state and will be leaving the area on April 17th. Please spread the word and help make it possible for Lovey to transition to a new foster home or FOREVER home before April 17th! Lovey is an absolute LOVE BUG! She snuggles right up on the couch to watch TV with you or just bask in closeness while you're reading a book. She is potty trained, and is accustomed to being alone for about 6 hours at a time. Lovey is content on the couch while you're busy at work, or overnight, but ready for action when her foster family is ready to head out the door with her. She absolutely LOVES to hike, walk and run. She does well on a leash. Lovey would do best in a home with no cats. She has potential to accept another dog - but we would recommend one at least her size or bigger. She would love a fenced in yard if possible and can entertain herself chasing a ball and can toss a frisbee up in the air and play with it for quite a while! She loves to go on car rides and will hop right in your car when you open the door.
