As part of the Packer Litter of five, Love waited months for her chance to leave the shelter behind. She has now safely arrived in Wisconsin and is settling in beautifully at her foster home.

Meet Love

Love is a tricolor pup with a heart as big as her name. Her breed is a Lab mix (best guess), as two of her siblings look very Lab-like, but they all have different unique coloring. She is approximately seven months old and weighs around 35–40 pounds. Despite her rough beginning, Love is sweet, friendly, and incredibly affectionate. She is dog friendly and kid friendly. While she has not been cat tested, she is still young and would likely do well with cats with proper introductions.

Love is now spayed and is pretty much potty trained. She is doing really well in her foster home and continues to gain confidence every day. Love is a total love bug and would make a wonderful family dog.

She has a medium energy level and enjoys playing, but she also knows how to relax. One of her favorite things is cuddling up on the couch with her people after a fun day. Love will benefit from continued work on leash manners and crate training, but she is eager to learn and thrives with patience, consistency, and love.

From Foster:
Love is doing great. She is cautious with new things but grows more confident every day. She’s a sweetheart who loves to snuggle or simply sit by your side. Very loyal and attentive, she comes when called and even offers a paw sometimes. She listens well to basic commands, does wonderfully with potty training, and does great in her kennel. She also has the cutest habit of gathering all her toys into one little pile.

Love at a Glance

Age: Approximately 7 months
Gender: Female
Weight: Approximately 35–40 lbs
Breed: Lab mix (best guess)
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Potty Trained: Yes
Crate Trained: Yes
Leash Manners: Pretty good, working on it!
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Cats: Not tested (likely fine)
Good with Kids: Yes

Now safe in Wisconsin, Love is ready for a foster or forever home where she can relax, keep learning, and soak up all the love she deserves.

Apply to foster or adopt Love at
www.muttlife.org
__________

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up to date dewormer, vaccinations, and heart worm prevention (age appropriate).

NOTE: THE BREED LISTED FOR EACH DOG IS OUR BEST GUESS WITH THE HELP OF OUR VETERINARIANS.
