Louie

4 y/o Louie was an owner surrender. He came to HBHR in October over-weight with some issues regarding crating.<br/><br/>Louie had great house manners from the start but hated going into a kennel. He had spent all his life being crated long hours each day. He soon learned that at the Bungalow, he would stay in a crate only during mealtime. It didn’t take him long to willingly go into a kennel with a treat when it was meal or cookie time! <br/><br/>Louie interacts well with his pack mates and enjoys wrestling, chase and tug of war. All the activity has help him slim down and lose those extra pounds! He gets into rare squabbles over toys but usually when he tries to take one from an older grumpy boy!<br/><br/>Louie enjoys attention and pets but is not one to snuggle with you. With time, I am sure he would learn to jump up next to his new family for some good cuddle time! Louie needs a home where he will have people around most of the time and has kids to chase. A dog companion would be great!
