He enjoys his walks and exploring the world, but he’s also content to lounge and take life at an easy pace. He’s not over-the-top or demanding — just a solid, loyal companion who wants to be near his people.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, Louie didn’t have the best start in life. He experienced neglect and spent long periods confined to a crate. Because of this, he developed a fear of men, likely due to a negative experience with a male in his previous home. That said, with patience, consistency, and kindness, Louie can learn to trust men — and he is already making wonderful progress with his foster dad.<br/><br/>Louie naturally prefers women and bonds with them quickly, forming deep and meaningful connections.
