He was surrendered through no fault of his own when his owner was moving and couldn’t take him along.<br/><br/>Per his previous owner - He has been an inside dog and is reported to be housetrained, crate trained, knows a few commands, and rides well in the car.<br/><br/>Here at the shelter, Louie has been a bit timid and scared as he adjusts to this new environment. With patience, reassurance, and love, we know his true sweet nature will continue to shine. He’s still young and ready to keep learning and growing with his forever family.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who just needs a little confidence boost, Louie is ready to meet you.

Tri-City Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid Texas Driver's License, and fill out a pre-adoption application. The adoption fee for our pets is $75.00. For the dogs it includes a DA2PPV vaccination, rabies vaccination, deworming, sterilization, microchip with registration, and a heartworm test (if old enough) and collar. For the cats, it includes an FVRCCP vaccination, rabies vaccination, deworming, sterilization, microchip with registration, cardboard carrier, and a collar. State law requires that all pets adopted from an animal shelter be spayed or neutered and vaccinated against rabies. Adopted pets will be taken by shelter staff to a participating local veterinarian for sterilization within the next two business days. The adopter can pick up the pet from the vet clinic after the surgery has been completed. If the pet you are adopting is not able to be sterilized or rabies vaccinated at the time of adoption, you will sign an agreement to have this done within a specified amount of time.
