Can you imagine growing up and spending your entire puppy-hood at adoption events, the shelter, and rotating foster homes? Losing everyone who has ever been kind to you...<br/><br/>Louie is a 7 month old Border Collie Mix who has not had an easy start to life. He has bounced between shelters and fosters since April 2025. He finally found his best bud and foster, however she had to leave for college and couldn’t take him along. Risking euthanasia if brought back to the high-kill shelter, we agreed to find Louie the home he deserves! He misses her dearly and wonders how he has gotten so unlucky as just a young pup. <br/><br/>Louie is: <br/>Sweet, playful, high-energy pup <br/>Loves tug of war and going on adventures <br/>Knows sit and is doing great with house training <br/>Eager to please! <br/>Very smart! <br/><br/>Per his last foster, he is dog friendly and cat friendly.<br/><br/>He has faced a lot of rejection, but is eager to learn and deserves stability.
