Well, she’s back, safe and sound, and has been soaking up the love with us for about a month now! This adventurous girl is finally healthy and ready to find her forever family. A little about Louella: -She’s got just the right amount of spunk—playful outside but a total chill queen inside. You’ll always find her right by your side, cuddling and following you like your very own shadow. -Louella is good with cats! She’s chased them a couple of times (we think her foster dog brother may be the bad influence here!), but with time, she’ll settle right in with them. -Her escape skills are off the charts! Louella can spot an opportunity like a pro, so she’ll need to be leashed outside and closely monitored until she’s comfortable—she’s not done testing her escape artist talents just yet. -She’s the perfect balance of gentle and fun—takes food softly and is super dog-friendly. Louella is the perfect mix of spunky and sweet, ready to bring her unique, lovable quirks into your life. If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly, adventure-loving girl, Louella’s your gal! Louella’s journey has been filled with twists and turns, but now, with your help, she’s ready for the greatest adventure of all—finding her forever home! Rebel Dogs Detroit's Adoption Policy

We want to help you find your best friend! Rebel Dogs Detroit is committed to making dog adoption more accessible and attractive to the Detroit community. Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $275-$325, and $325-$400 for puppies. That said, we do have a sliding scale adoption fee for those below the poverty line who are interested in adopting an adult pitbull mix. We ask you apply for the dog/puppy on our website first and foremost. Once we receive your application, we will contact you with questions and/or set up a time to interview you. The next step is a meeting between you and the dog. If that goes well, and you wish to follow through with the adoption, you can do so at that point. Our commitment to you and your new companion doesn't end with the adoption. If you ever need help in the future to keep your dog healthy and happy, you can always reach out. We will do everything in our power to help you and your pooch! We appreciate you opening up your home and your hearts, and know that it is a large, long-term responsibility. We ask you to not take it lightly, and promise that we won't either!
