Lou Lou Furr (CONC-A-88)'s Story

DOB: 04/02/2018

Lou Lou is a beautiful lab mix who has been patiently waiting for her forever home since March of 2021. She was surrendered to our local animal control by her previous owner, who was homeless. Though we don’t know the details of her past, it’s clear that Lou Lou has faced her share of struggles, leaving her wary of people and not well socialized.

Over the years, Lou Lou has watched the seasons change from the same kennel, her hopeful eyes always searching for the family who will take her home. In her kennel, she may appear reactive and uncertain, but that’s just her way of protecting herself from strangers. Once she’s in a quiet, loving environment, Lou Lou reveals her true, tender self—a girl who yearns for gentle affection and a safe place to call home. She adores her friends at the shelter that take her for daily walks and shower her with belly rubs. You know that you've made it into Lou Lou's inner circle when she shows you her belly asking for it to be rubbed.

Lou Lou’s heart is full of love, waiting to be shared with someone who can offer her the patience and understanding she needs. She thrives in a calm setting without much hustle and bustle, and would do best in a home without other animals or young children.

If you’re searching for a devoted companion who has been patiently waiting for her second chance, Lou Lou is more than deserving of a loving home. To meet this sweet girl and see if you can offer her the happiness she’s been longing for, please call us at (704) 784-7387 to schedule a meet and greet.
