Meet Lou 🐾<br/><br/>Lou is a 7-month-old German Shepherd mix with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. He came into our care with his sister Cindy—who has now been adopter—but we are still searching for the perfect furever home for Lou.<br/><br/>Lou is an energetic, enthusiastic boy who loves to run around the yard and burn off his puppy energy. He enjoys playing with toys and will sometimes engage in a game of fetch, especially when treats are involved (they are the quickest way to his heart!). Treats are also a great tool to help him warm up to new people.<br/><br/>He can be a bit nervous when first meeting someone new, but once he feels comfortable, Lou greets his people with excitement and joy. With time, patience, and consistency, his confidence continues to grow.<br/><br/>Lou would do best in a patient, adult-only home with no other pets. He prefers to be the king of the castle and is not fond of other dogs, aside from his sister.
