LOTTIE's Story

Lottie is a 1-year, 10-month-old, 58-pound bundle of wiggles, kisses, and affection. Although she can be anxious when meeting someone new, she quickly showed shelter staff her social side with nonstop tail wags and an enthusiastic desire to be close. Once Lottie feels comfortable, she is eager to climb into a lap and collect as much attention as possible. Lottie is playful, energetic, and still learning when it is time to take a break. She has spent time around a large dog and enjoyed playing, though her enthusiasm could occasionally become too much for her older canine companion. A patient family willing to help her build confidence and practice calm manners would give Lottie the guidance she needs to thrive. Her experience with children, cats, and dogs is otherwise unknown. All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter's care. To view our current available animals, please visit: https://indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet .
