LOTTIE

Lottie is a very sweet and loving female Australian Cattle dog, Lottie is 44 lbs, up to date on vaccines, spayed and on heartworm preventative. <br/> <br/>Lottie is crate trained, her crate is her safe place, she is no longer put in her crate I just put her in the bedroom when I leave the house with her crate door open, she doesn't bother anything. Lottie has full run of the house when I'm home which is most of the day. Lottie is housebroken she uses the doggy door to go out and do her business (doggy door access only when someone is home). Lottie loves people and is the first to greet them along our walks, Lottie's bio from the shelter said she didn't walk on a leash but she is now doing fine, still a little unsure of herself but is no longer trying to crawl under objects, she just needed to feel safe and comfortable with her person. Lottie is a good dog but feel she would do best in a quiet home with no kids.<br/> <br/>Lottie does need time to warm up to new dogs, she is in a house with 4 other dogs, and it took a couple days for her to feel safe; she now plays with her foster brother and sister (other two are seniors).<br/> <br/>Lottie is very smart; she is a couch potato and loves to cuddle; she likes to chase a ball but hasn't learned to bring it back, she likes toys and nyla bones and is very treat motivated.<br/> <br/>Lottie will need a 6 ft fenced in yard as she's still scared and that makes her a flight risk, she does like to use the bathroom in private so she may not go on a leash, so the yard helps her feel comfortable. <br/><br/>If interested please contact Christine at christine@therescueexpress.org
