Lori's Story

Lori, in a foster home, she arrived at the shelter in November with her friend Carl. Lori is a volunteer favorite thanks to her sweet nature, is good with other dogs, kids, cats, great on a leash, house broken and crate trained. She has been heart worm treated, fully vetted and ready to meet you!
Lori loves playing with other dogs and is excellent at reading their play styles, making her a wonderful companion for canine friends. She loves the kiddie pool, is affectionate, loves giving kisses, and enjoys spending time with her human companions. She did fantastic with the children she met during a birthday party held at the shelter, gently accepting treats and soaking up the attention. Lori walks well on a leash, is house trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands. She is also a good watchdog and will alert you when someone arrives at the house or enters the yard.
While Lori can be a little shy when meeting new people, she becomes more comfortable and trusting with patience and encouragement. She has done well around cats, even enjoying walks with a friendly neighborhood cat that sometimes joins her and her foster mom. She will chase a barn cat that runs from her, but otherwise has shown appropriate behavior around feline friends.
Lori is a happy, fun loving girl who would thrive in a home that will give her the love and companionship she deserves. She has so much to offer and is ready to become someone's best friend. Located in Hartsville SC, ask for Lori and help her find the forever home she's been patiently waiting for.
