Loreya's Story

Meet Loreya, the sunshine-girl Shepherd mix who brightens every room she walks into!
At 6 years old and 55 lbs of love, Loreya is the perfect blend of playful and gentle. She was rescued from the streets with her puppies, and now she's ready for a forever family of her own.

Loreya is cheerful, active, and full of personality. She knows how to sit, stay, shake (“gimme five!”), and she gets wiggly-happy the second she sees her leash — walks are her favorite! She loves running in the park, playing with her foster sisters, and taking long naps in the sun.

She's great with kids and dogs, is potty and crate trained, and is learning not to pull as she walks. She's also fully vetted — spayed, up-to-date on shots, and 4DX negative.

She's scared of thunder, loud noises, and the dark, so she's looking for a gentle companion to build trust and remind her she's safe furever now.

If you're looking for a loyal, goofy, sunshine-hearted girl... Loreya is ready to give you her paw!

Loreya is being fostered in San Antonio, Texas, awaiting you to ask more about her and then welcome her up to her new furever home in Colorado. Maybe in time for the holidays?

Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster to adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa.

Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado. We primarily rescue dogs off the streets and from kill shelters in San Antonio.
