Lorelai 46310's Story

Lorelai is a dainty, gentle, and sweet girl that loves other dogs -- big and small -- and has previously lived well with cats. She has a demure and aloof personality with unfamiliar people, but blossoms with another dog to boost her confidence; given a little time and space to approach on her own, we know she will make the perfect companion. Once she's opened up, she is goofy, affectionate, and playful. It is hard to describe how truly soft-hearted and endearingly sensitive she is despite her tough-looking exterior -- so much so that she risked being a "foster fail"!

Lorelai is housetrained, comfortable being left home alone, rides well in the car, and has been extremely well-behaved in a home environment. House manners? This girl has got them. She settles well, chews only on her toys, and thus far has stayed out of any mischief when unsupervised in the house. That said, she enjoys walks and adventures, too! Sudden loud noises and quick movements make her uneasy, so she needs a child-free home that understands her boundaries. While generally very quiet, she'll alert you to incoming visitors but quickly calm after they've arrived, particularly if they ignore her. Staff have described her as "cat-like," "precious," and "loving" -- and she's a favorite for a reason!

We know that with a little patience, and some yummy treats, Lorelai will quickly steal your heart and become your new best friend.
