Lorado

Meet Lorado!

He is a 3 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who weighs 44 pounds. Lorado is a social butterfly who absolutely loves meeting new people. He is a young and energetic pup who loves to run around and play with his ball, go on long walks, and lounge in the sunshine or on the couch with you. Lorado is a typical cattle dog who loves to herd and can be quite mouthy at times, so he would do best with an owner that has experience with positive reinforcement training and the cattle dog breed.

He is a little bundle of energy that loves to explore the world around him, but once he's settled down is a big snuggle bug. Lorado can be reactive with new dogs, so he needs a slow introduction to new dogs to see if they'd make a good match in his forever home. Lorado will need a home without cats. Due to his tendency to get mouthy when he's excited, he would do best in a home with kids ages 13 and older. He is a handsome pup who will surely bring plenty of spice into your life!

Lorado did spend some time in a foster home for a few days and was reportedly potty trained, however, he will need time and patience to adjust to a new schedule. They also reported that he loves to ride in the car and go for walks on his long line!

If Lorado looks like the pup for you, stop in today at the Humane Society of Summit County at 752 West Portage Trail, Akron, Ohio.
