Meet Lolo (Butterfly litter)

FIRST STEPS: Please visit https://www.save-a-mutt.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an application - a Petfinder Inquiry is not the adoption process. We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State - we are a local foster based rescue and no transport from another state required. :) Thanks!

Meet Lolo! This amazing girl is not only beautiful, but she's smart. She and her sisters are super friendly and ready for an active home. We think they would be great as an only dog - as long as cuddles and walks are on the daily schedule. :) They also play well together and in foster love the resident dogs. DNA has them as mostly 'Bully' but there are oodles of other breeds too. They were born at the end of March. They are ready to learn all kinds of puppy skills, crate training, leash walking and more.

This puppy is spayed, microchipped and only needs one more puppy vaccine at 16 weeks. Puppies are good with dogs, cats, kids and more. Being a puppy, they will need lots of training, including housebreaking. Remember, puppies are cute, but they have sharp teeth, need to be fed 3 times a day and poop... a lot!

The 3-3-3 rule is a guideline for transitioning a rescue dog into its new home and helping it to settle in. It suggests that the first three days should be used for adjusting to its new surroundings, the next three weeks for training and bonding, and the first three months for continued socialization and training.

Each dog goes home with a goody bag including collar/leash, toys, chews, Kong, and more. You will receive all medical records, microchip transfer form and other paperwork at the time of adoption.

Save-A-Mutt may require a training contract and $100 refundable deposit (depending on previous dog experience). You simply pick a trainer in your area, and upon completion of a 6+ week training class, we will refund the deposit.

Adoptions typically take place in Stanwood. We don’t hold puppies, adoption applications may be approved in just a couple days. If you are planning on a vacation or have an issue that may delay your ability to pick up your puppy within a few days of approval, please do not submit an application.

Adoption fee is $475. Save-A-Mutt is a registered 501c3 and half of your adoption fee may be tax deductible.

Save-A-Mutt is a foster based rescue, we do not have a facility to visit. Our adoptions are typically done Monday - Saturday, we are closed on Sunday’s to give our volunteers at least one day off. You must be available to do meets and adoptions during that time frame. We can make exceptions only with the approval of the foster home.

Please note, we have approximately a 300 mile adoption radius - Portland OR area and Vancouver BC is the farthest north. We don’t ship dogs, once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up your puppy.
