Lolo's Story

Hi there! My name is Lolo, and I’m an 8-year-young black lab mix with about 50 pounds of pure love—and yes, a strong hunting instinct to match!

I’ve still got plenty of pep in my step and absolutely love walks and outdoor adventures. And car rides? Those are my favorite! There’s nothing better than sticking my head out the window with my ears flapping in the wind—it’s basically my version of a spa day.

One of the best things about adopting a mature dog like me? I already know my manners! I’m trained, smart, and eager to please—especially if there’s bacon, chicken, or cheese involved. Sit, down, stay? Nailed it.

I do have a bit of a playful, energetic side, so a securely fenced yard would be perfect for me to run around and chase little critters.

As for other dogs… I prefer being the star of the show. I’ve lived with dogs before and done okay, but I’d really love to be your one and only so I can soak up all the love and attention.

With humans, I might be a little cautious at first—but give me a little time, some gentle words, and maybe a scratch behind the ears, and I’ll become your most loyal companion.

If you’re looking for a smart, adventurous, and devoted best friend, I just might be your girl!

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
