Lollygag (Lolly)'s Story
Where in the world is the poky little puppy? RIGHT HERE!

This litter got their names because of their resemblance to the puppy from one of our favorite children's books. Every story needs the thoughtful character who takes it all in - and in this litter, that's Lollygag, lovingly known as Lolly.

Lolly is the kind of girl who is equally happy frolicking around with a toy (or a doggy friend) as she is curled up on an available lap. This sweet girl plays hard and loves hard. She seems to be a curious girl who likes to do in-depth exploring, so she takes her connection to the original Poky Little Puppy very seriously. She also seems especially fascinated by the big dog in her foster home, so she may enjoy having a canine mentor in her future family--but is confident enough to be a solo pup. She might take a minute to adjust to a new situation, but she is an easygoing girl who adapts quickly. As long as there are toys, snacks, and snuggles on the agenda, Lolly will be just fine!

Mama dog is a cattle dog/hound mix and daddy is a mystery, but these pups have inherited the hound vocal stylings so are not best-suited for apartment life.

Cattle Dogs are often more active, athletic, and energetic dogs. This litter is definitely a mix of breeds, but there's always a chance they will have the Cattle Dog drive and need plenty of activity and mental engagement to be their happiest selves. These puppies are still very much babies, just starting to learn how to "dog", so they will need homes ready to teach them all the important puppy lessons they need to know to help them grow from poky puppies to amazing adult dogs.

Like the poky little puppy in the story, Lolly prefers to take her time, enjoy the moment, and savor the good things in life - especially love and cuddles. If you're looking for a loving companion who has already mastered the perfect story-book puppy dog eyes, Lollygag is the girl for you!

You can see lots more poky puppy adventures on Instagram.
