Lolly's Story
Lolly is a Pyrenees mix pup who is about 9 months old. She is here in Maine, in foster, and her foster says:<br/><br/>"Lolly the friendliest, most loving, large floofball of a pup you’ll ever see! It takes her a minute to get to know you but then she loves you! Her curly white coat with a little bit of tan makes her look like a mop. Her siblings were DNA tested and they are over half Great Pyrenees with 10-11 % Komondor, hence the mop like fur. She’s good with people after a warmup period, loves other dogs and has lived with a dog savvy cat. She’s very playful with other dogs and has the energy of a 9 month old puppy. Not high energy just puppy energy and curiosity. She loves her toys. She loves being outside in all kinds of weather. She would do well with another dog to get her exercise. She doesn’t walk well on the leash for exercising because she has to investigate everything in her path. She is very afraid of traffic. She will need to go to a home with a fenced in yard. She is ok in a crate, housebroken, food motivated, can get by when her humans leave. She is as smart as she needs to be (not fair of me to compare her to the Cattle dog ond German Shepherd mixes that are her foster siblings). She is an independent thinker, will make a judgement call on whether to listen or not, and a guard dog at heart. She loves to cuddle especially at night. Lolly weighs between 45 and 50 pounds. She just wants to go home with her forever family and cuddle up!"<br/><br/>If you think you might be interested in adopting Lolly or just want to get pre-approved to adopt through us, please fill out an application on our website.
