Lollipop's Story

This sweet girl has had it rather rough. The only real break she has gotten - good people found her and they cared enough to get her to safety. She was heartworm postivie, AND she had a fractured leg. Her heartworom treatment is complete and her leg is totally healed. She is sweet and happy and very playful. She loves toys and chew bones and is crazy about a ball!!!!!! We are happy to report that she gets along well with other dogs. When we first took her in, she was dog reactive: we've tested and retested and seems her days in shelter have given her confidence not to be nervous around other pups.

An application is submitted via email or in person and referred to an adoption committee. The application is reviewed and and questions or potential issues are discussed with the applicant. An inspection of the applicant/potential adopter's is conducted as deemed necessary. If committee approved the applicant/potential adopter, an adoption fee is collected and adopter is provided with medical records when pet is transferred to adopter. The records are appropriately completed and the microchip is registered on adopter's behalf.
