Lola (she needs an angel!)'s Story
CALLING ALL ANGELS!

Meet LOLA — a 6.5-lb, ~10-year-old perfect angel in the tiniest body.

LOLA is blind (she sees light and shadows), but you’d never know it from her gentle, trusting spirit. She’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and happiest when she’s tucked right next to her person. Truly — she is as loving as they come.

She’s had a full medical workup (spay, dental, hernia repair, vaccines, negative heartworm/tick tests). She does have a grade 5/6 heart murmur, but she’s stable and not currently on medication. Her bloodwork looks good!

Now for what LOLA needs — because it matters:

LOLA does NOT like be left alone. If she wakes up and can’t find you, she will bark in distress. It’s not especially loud, but it’s not ideal for for her heart.

Her person should plan to take her everywhere (she’s happy to go!) or arrange for her to have a babysitter. She rides beautifully in the car and loves being carried around.

She is not a leash-walking dog, but she’ll happily join you in a sling or stroller.
She enjoys wandering safely in the yard (with supervision).

LOLA cannot do stairs and will need to be carried. (Good news: she’s only 6.5 lbs.)

LOLA is wonderful with calm dogs and cats who respect her space, and she’s a world-class snuggler. She’ll happily sleep under the covers or right beside you — as long as she knows you’re there.

She is housebroken if you take her outside regularly, and she's completely capable of sleeping through the night in bed with you.

This little girl doesn’t need much — just constant love, closeness, and someone willing to be her eyes. In return, you get absolute devotion.

If you’ve ever wanted to truly be someone’s angel… this is your girl.

Apply at: passion4paws.org/adopt. She's being fostered in New Milford, CT.
