Lola (she needs an angel!)'s Story

CALLING ALL ANGELS!

LOLA is a tiny 6.3-lb senior girl (approximately 10 years old). Her life hasn’t been easy, but her spirit is nothing short of beautiful. While she can see light and shadows, LOLA is blind, likely due to past trauma rather than age-related disease. Despite this, she navigates her world with quiet grace and trust.

Sadly, LOLA’s teeth are completely rotted, and she will soon undergo a much-needed dental with a full (or near-full) mouth extraction, along with her spay. Her surgery is scheduled for March 10th. She does have a grade 3/6 heart murmur, but the good news is her bloodwork looks perfect, and she’s otherwise doing well.

What truly defines LOLA is her heart. She is exceptionally sweet, gentle, and loving — the kind of dog who just wants to feel safe and cherished. She does well with both cats and dogs, but because she is blind, she appreciates calm companions who respect her space and don’t get in her face.

LOLA is a world-class snuggler. Her dream home would be as an only dog with someone who is home often and happy to dote on her. If you let her, she’ll sleep tucked under the covers with you all night long. If not, she’ll happily curl up in her bed right next to yours, just to be close.

This little girl has endured so much and asks for so little — just love, comfort, and a soft place to land. LOLA is truly deserving of a peaceful, devoted forever home. If you’ve ever thought about being someone’s angel… this might be your moment.

To apply for LOLA please go to passion4paws.org/adopt. She is currently being fostered in Bolton, CT.
