Lola's Story

Dear future forever family, it's me, Lola!

I'm a 3 year-old, 35 lb female Cunucu (mixed breed dog) from Aruba

Luna Foundation rescued me 3 years ago as a puppy, and I was adopted by what I thought was my forever family.
I had a doggie sister and at first we got along great. Unfortunately as time went on, she no longer wanted to share her home and family with me.

I have been at my foster home for a while now. I have come SO far in training and building my confidence and I am more than ready to meet my forever family

Some things about me, Lola!

I am a really good girl, loyal and loving. I’m fully housebroken and non-destructive when allowed to roam freely in the house.

I currently live with cats and chickens. While I am still too nervous to live with another dog right now, I may be able to have a mellow doggy sibling in the future.

I love people and am the best snuggler. My foster family includes teenaged kids and they are my favorite people in the whole wide world. But I think noisy boisterous toddlers might be a little too much for me.

I am treat motivated and eager to learn- I LOVE to make my people happy so I know lots of commands!

I love being outdoors! Love to hike? I’m your girl! Prefer to jog? I’ll trot right along by your side! Once that’s done, a comfy couch cuddled up to my forever family is the perfect way to end the day.

My favorite thing in the world is my pink pig toy! I love to show it off to everyone, whether they care to see it or not.

For those unfamiliar with the Cunucu breed; A Cunucu is the native island dog of Aruba. They are known to be extremely intelligent, loyal, athletic, and loving. Cunucus make outstanding family dogs and companions

Apply Here: https://www.luna-aruba.com/adoption-application

If I sound like the girl of your dreams please reach out to my friends at https://www.luna-aruba.com/adoption-application and apply to meet me!
