Lola's Story
Meet Lola, a special soul who was left in the streets to fend for herself after recently having a litter of pups. She wandered onto a construction site looking for food and water. We believe whoever abandoned Lola must have driven a white truck because she would jump in the back of white trucks or sleep underneath a white truck, probably wanting to get back to her babies. Unfortunately, the construction site was protected by 3 guard dogs which attacked Lola on 2 separate occasions. One of the neighbors close by offered her emergency foster care and she received medical attention for the wounds. Fortunately, Lola was taken in by Wet Noses Rescue and is now going through the vetting process so she can travel to her new home. Lola is very sweet and calm (not a barker). She appears to have had some training as she walks to heel, kennels up on command, does not have accidents inside.
