LOLA's Story
Meet Lola! Lola is a 3-year-old Labrador/German Shepherd mix who came to the shelter with her sister, Lulu, after being found running at large. She’s a sweet, goofy, and playful girl with a heart full of love, ready to find her forever home. Recently, Lola underwent exploratory surgery and has been an absolute trooper throughout the entire process. She handles restraint, nail care, and staples with patience and grace — a true champ! Personality & Play: Lola is social and loves people, toys, and interactive play. She thrives on mental stimulation and physical exercise, making her a perfect match for an active family. A secure, fenced yard is recommended, and she enjoys dog interaction — though she may need time and space to warm up to new canine friends. Dog Introductions: Lola is unsure of dogs at first and can be cautious in new social situations. Lola does best with dogs who give her time to adjust and can match her playstyle and energy. Once she’s comfortable, she warms up and shows her joyful, playful side. In a Home: Lola is resilient, affectionate, and full of joy. She’s ready to bring love, laughter, and energy into the right home — a family who can provide outlets for her playful spirit, patience as she adjusts to new dogs, and lots of love.
